Hope everybody had an
amazing Thanksgiving this year! We celebrated by
getting some KFC on Thanksgiving day, and then a member invited us to
their home for a Thanksgiving dinner! Yesterday, we got to teach an
English member family about the Thanksgiving holiday and how it was
created, and their children loved it!
Another highlight of our week was yesterday when R received the
priesthood! He's been doing so well! Every time he and his nan have a
good time studying the scriptures together, they both text us their
testimonies about what they've read! He's also talking about how he
wants to serve a mission too! We're so happy for him and his family!!
My favorite miracle this week comes from Saturday. We wanted to be
more united with the Aylesbury district, so we asked one of the
companionships in Watford if they could pray for us as we went out to
find. We asked them to pray so that we could find a father. We talked
with everyone on the way there, worked on the computer at the chapel,
then talked with everyone on the way back to our flat. When we were
about 1-2 mins away from our flat on the way back, we stopped this one
man, A, by talking about Christmas. He said he wasn't looking forward
to Christmas. He explained that he felt it was too commercialized to
be special. We were able to tell him that we believed the same thing,
and that we were helping people to focus on the real meaning behind
Christmas, Jesus Christ. After talking with him for a bit, he agreed
to meet with us. He's a father, and we're going to see him this
Saturday! Heavenly Father really does hear and answer our prayers!
Hope everybody has another great week back home! Stay warm!

Funnies of the Week
When we were at the English family's home and were teaching about
Thanksgiving, we asked all their children what they were grateful for.
Their 3-year-old son said: "I'm thankful for my family." When the
father asked why, he said: "Because I love them SO much!"
We were riding on a bus to Watford for a baptismal interview when we
got stuck with traffic on a straight and narrow road, Christchurch
Lane. We started looking out the windows and saw that a party was
going on in the town center with the flashing sign "Hell's Gate" above
it.

Scripture fulfilled.
We got KFC for Thanksgiving! A member family invited us over for a turkey dinner on Saturday (the mother is an American) -
it was sooooo good!!
My companion, Elder Moulton, loves art and wanted to draw the "Golden Spiral" - but you have to know the "Golden Ratio" -
so I helped him figure it out!
We were knocking on some doors when we looked over and saw this.
Anyone recognize what this is?
