We've had a good week here in Aylesbury! We had Stake Conference this week, and we learned so much about keeping the Sabbath day holy. We were even shown excerpts from when the Apostles taught all the General Authorities about this focus on the Sabbath day. Now it's time to apply!
We had some good miracles happen this week too! On Friday, we were leaving our flat to contact a potential investigator, and we decided to pray to find a father. We talked with everyone along the way, but we didn't find anyone. There was this one man who walked in front of us for most of the way, but we never got to talk with him. We knocked on the potential's door, but he wasn't home. We started heading back when we that same man who'd been walking in front of us stopped us and asked for directions to a bus to take him back to town center. After checking our maps and seeing no bus stops nearby, we told him we were walking back to town center anyway and would help him get back there. We had a great conversation with him along the way, and he told us about he's planning on moving here with his family in a few months - he's a father! We even were able to point out our Church to him as we passed by it. He told us he would love to come to our Church! Miracle! Prayers are answered!
After meeting this young father, we finally were able to teach an investigator family - J, the husband, D, his wife, and their two young children. We weren't even sure if J was going to be home, but we came with a member hoping that we'd at least be able to teach D. Shortly after arriving, J came home too, and we were able to teach them a brief lesson about the Restoration. Even though a lot of what we were teaching was new to them, i really admired how willing they were to learn about it and how much they wanted to know if it was true. We're excited to see them again this week!
Another miracle happened on Friday when we were finally able to get back in contact with a returning member, R. He's been going through a lot, and he was so grateful that we were able to come and read the scriptures and pray with him. He told us about how much better he felt when he read the scriptures, and it helped strengthen my testimony that scripture study, prayer, and the Sabbath Day really do make such a big difference in our lives me just like what Elder Christofferson says in his talk, "Daily Bread."
Well! That's everything for this week! Hope everybody has another amazing week!

Funnies of the Week
While we were serving a family in our ward, their daughter noticed the back of my name tag was devoid of any stickers. Deeming this unacceptable, she quickly found her book of stickers and stuck a few on my badge.
We were visiting somebody in the hospital this week, and while we were waiting to go in, we saw a group of women starting to go in to see somebody. Right before they went in, one of the women noticed one of the others was wearing a hood. Thinking of her friend in the hospital, she pulled it down and exclaimed, "The way she's hallucinating, she'll think you're the grim reaper!"
I saw somebody wear Lego cuff links this week at Church.
We also saw a yellow Lamborghini Murcielago this week on the way back from Stake Conference.
