So sorry, it's gonna be an über short email today! We've had another
crazy preparation day, but it' been an amazing week. I love you all
and hope you're having a great time back in Utah or wherever you might
be!
Elder McOmber
Funnies of the Week
We were talking to people next to a busy street when somebody passing
by asked if I was a traffic warden. We've also been mistaken for
workers and managers when we've gone to help our recent converts pick
out a suit from the store.
We were just walking down the road when all of a sudden I hear
somebody's horn honking from behind. We turned around just in time to
see one of the families from the Dereham ward driving past, all
shouting, "McOmber!"
E's baptism last week! She was confirmed yesterday.
She looks serious in the pictures be she is so FUNNY!
We sang "I Am A Child of God" for E's baptism one week ago - we sang in Mandarin for part of it!
This is the first verse in Mandarin - it is written in their alphabet called ping ying rather than the simplified characters so that we would know how to pronounce the words.
My companion, Elder Opiyo, can make some awesome slow-cooked beef!
I got a chocolate bar at zone conference for my birthday last month.
