I'm moving to Norwich!!!! The area has 8 missionaries, including an awesome senior couple from Utah, and it's on fire!! I'm so sad to leave Dereham, and I literally almost cried after teaching our Lithuanian family for the last time, but at the same time I'm so excited to be moving to such an amazing area! Elder Thornton is in London now, and his flight leaves tomorrow for Australia. My new companion is Elder Opiyo from Uganda, and he's the district leader here in Norwich. We're super excited to begin working together!!
It's true that these past few days have been super stressful. My trainer, Elder Zarse, was exactly right when he said that as soon as you get comfortable, the Lord moves you. We were afraid of being whitewashed - of all the Dereham missionaries leaving Dereham and all new missionaries coming in - and it happened. We found out yesterday morning, so all our plans for the day went out the window and we started preparing for the move. We still have to prepare lots of stuff for the new missionaries, but we've also gotten lots done. I finished packing and moved into my new flat today, and the senior couple from Norwich actually came over and helped clean it up! The new missionaries in Dereham will be sisters, so we had to leave the flat in an immaculate condition. I'm also excited because I'll be in the same district as the sisters in Dereham, so I'll be able to hear about what's going on there in Dereham! I might even be able to attend the baptism of the Lithuanian family if I'm lucky!!!
There was a huge thunderstorm this week! We woke up to it in the middle of the night - it was like paparazzi! We asked around and people said that you only get electrical storms like that every 15-20 years around here! We're lucky we got to see something cool like that!
We've had a few more miracles this week! We were talking with people on the street when we stopped someone who turned out to be someone who'd asked us to come around a month or two earlier and then told us she wasn't interested. She said she'd been intimidated when we told her that we needed another member of the Church to come with us to teach her so we could follow our mission rules, so she didn't want to meet with us anymore. We had a good conversation with her, and she told us she was looking for a Church that she and her son can go to, so we invited her to come to Church on Sunday with us. Even though she may still not be comfortable with us, at least we planted a seed.
We had another miracle with our Lithuanian family. We had a great lesson with the mother this week - she's quit tea and coffee, and she's cut down on smoking! She's not completely smoke-free yet, but she's starting to make progress again!
Thanks again for reading my blog! Hope everyone's having a great week back home! Love you!

Funnies of the Week:
It's also always been so fun to walk our Lithuanian family to Church - her little girl likes to give me her little stuffed owl to hold as we walk there, and they love to talk as we walk.
The final Elder's Quorum lesson Elder Thornton received before he went home was on Marriage and Family.
The missionaries in Norwich spoiled the surprise and let it slip that I was moving to Norwich a few hours we were officially supposed to find out. I wasn't sure I believed them, just because everyone's trying to freak each other out about where they're going. Then, during the call where we learned where we were going, our phone flipped out, so I had to call at about 10:25 to confirm that I was actually moving to Norwich.
