A lot has happened this past week! We met our new mission president, President Stevens, had interviews with him and his wife today, ate blood pudding for the first time, and taught Primary again!
Our new mission president and his wife are super nice! They kept up the tradition of baking Ghirardelli brownies for Interviews, so that was fun. It sounds like they have a bit of a crazy schedule right now, but they were still doing really well and looking happy and excited to serve. So grateful for such wonderful leaders!
We had a dinner appointment this week with members, and they thought we should try out some blood pudding! It didn't taste bad, but knowing what was in it didn't really help. Haha my companion had two of them, but I could only eat one.
Our Lithuanian family is still doing well and progressing slowly. They're having trouble living the Word of Wisdom, but they have loads of desire. We just learned about things we see in investigators when their faith begins to grow, and it was really cool to realize that we were seeing those things in our Lithuanian family! They're calling us to make sure that we confirm our appointments, they're reading the Book of Mormon like crazy, they do everything they can to come to Church, and more! I love being a missionary, and I love seeing investigators grow!
Being a missionary has been hard, but it's been so rewarding. When I was being interviewed by President Stevens today, he helped me realize how much I've grown since I began. I'm grateful for the hard times I've been through that have helped me learn and grow, and I hope I can make more good changes before my time runs out as a missionary. In Sister Jordan's words, #makeeverylastdaycount!
Hope everyone has a great week! Love y'all!

Funnies of the Week:
The assistants called one day this week, but apparently they dialed the wrong number. "Elder MCOMBER?! Oh my -" and then he hung up.
We celebrated Independence Day by eating ice cream with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. 'Murica!
