BACK STREET BOYS!!!!
I probably say this almost every week, but this has been another great week of miracles! Our Lithuanian (that's where "Sveiki!" comes from) friends came to church again this week, and they loved it! One of them is still struggling with the Word of Wisdom, but she has a strong desire to stop. We'll be talking with her about how a priesthood blessing can help her overcome her addiction, and we're hoping she'll be able to be baptized before my companion goes home. We're so excited at how well they're progressing!
This week, we met with some members and their friend that they referred to us, and it went great! She was a little distracted since her little son was running around, but we think she got a lot out of it! And then, the next day, we were on Facebook when she started messaging us, and she told us that she wanted to be baptized! MIRACLE!!!
We've also had a great day today - we had our farewell conference for President Jordan and his wife. They gave us their final trainings, gave us their famous Ghirardelli brownies, took some pictures (which they'll probably post on Facebook), gave us all hugs, and then left. I'm so grateful for the influence they've had on my mission and my life. I don't know where I'd be without them, and I'm grateful for their love, support, and inspiration. If they're reading this, I love you both so much!
Thanks again for reading! Hope everyone stays cool in the hot Utah weather!
