Stake Conference was this week! It was super good, and we had a lot of our investigators come! There were loads of good speakers too, and one of my favorites was this newly married man who got up and talked about Power Statements - statements of truth that just don't leave you. He talked about how one of his favorite Apostles was Elder Holland because he was "the king of power statements." Our mission president and his wife spoke at the conference, and they had some great talks as well. We'll be seeing them again tomorrow for Stake Conference, so we're pretty excited for that!
We've seen the work progressing this week - we've found some more potential families and we received a really good referral, so we're excited to begin teaching them!
Sorry it's short, but hope you all have a great week! Cheers!
Funnies of the Week:
One of the senior couples at Norwich heard that one of the YSA investigators wasn't planning on coming to Institute, so they called the investigator up and started persuading him to come. Near the end of the conversation, they said, "How's your arm? Is it being twisted enough?"
Love,
Elder McOmber
