Skyping with the family - and Coco!
Hope everyone had a great, awesome, wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! In England, they had Mother's Day 1-2 months ago - so weird! It was sooooo much fun talking to my family though, can't wait to talk to them again at Christmas!
This has been a really good week here in Dereham! We just had transfers this week, and my old companion, Elder Famuliner, left for Chelmsford (the ward next to where I started my mission!). My new companion's name is Elder Thornton, and he's from Australia! His accent's actually turned more British since he's served in England for a while, but you can hear some Aussie in there sometimes. He's loads of fun, and he knows how to work well with the members, so we're excited to begin working together!
We had a miracle this week with a man we met on the bus one or two weeks ago - we'd invited him to meet us at the Church so we could give him a tour of the building, and he agreed to meet us there. We forgot to get his number though, and then we found out we had District Meeting at the same time in Norwich, so we weren't able to go to the appointment or even let him know we couldn't make it. What ended up happening was that this man came to the Church and happened to find it open with a member inside. The member gave him a tour of the chapel and printed out some family history charts for him since he was interested in it. The member invited him to come to Church the following Sunday, and he came! What's more, he lives about an hour away by bus and he uses a walker, and he STILL made it almost on time! He had a great time at Church and stayed involved with all the lessons, and he even managed to start talking to the Family History Consultants without us even arranging it! MIRACLE!!!
Hope everything's been going well back in the States! Cheers!

Funnies of the Week:
We tracted into an elderly couple just a few days ago, and they started receding into their home when we started talking about the gospel. Then my companion asked them if they had any dating or marriage advice since they'd been married for so long. Their attitude changed instantly - their faces lit up, they leaned out the front door, and they asked my companion, "Ooh! Do you have a girlfriend?!"
