Week 44: 7 Companions in 8 Transfers!‏

First iPad Selfie!

This week has just been all over the place! One of the biggest things
that's happened this week is that the entire mission has received
iPads! We had a conference in London on Tuesday, where some general
authorities like Elder Kearon and Elder Nielson taught us about
agency, righteousness, and repentance (our mission president happened
to run into Elder Bernall from The District DVDs, so he pulled him in
at the beginning of the conference to say hello!). Later that week, we
had a zone meeting where we figured out some of the more technical
parts of using iPads, and then they let us begin using them! They
definitely help us to stay efficient and organized, but we also have
to be careful because they can be a big distraction. We're really
excited to start using them in our missionary work!

Another huge thing: I'm staying in Dereham, but my companion, Elder
Famuliner, is leaving for Chelmsford! My new companion will be Elder
Thornton from Australia! It sounds like he'll be super nice and a lot
of fun, so I'm excited to begin working with him! We have a pretty
good week set up, so I hope it all goes well!

Our zone had the best sacrament meeting attendance of any of the
zones, so President and Sister Jordan came to our zone yesterday and
had a barbecue with us! I'd forgotten how much I missed American
hamburgers - soooo good!! At the end, he also gave us our moves calls.
Haha he told my companion that he was moving at the beginning, but he
waited until the very end to tell him where he was going. Lots of
people were sad to go since we've been such a close zone, but they're
excited to go and serve where the Lord has called them.

We also received some awesome news just a few days ago - Elder Holland
is visiting our mission in June!! Super excited for that!

Awesome miracle today contacting AUFs!!! We tried contacting this AUF
we've tried over and over to contact, and today we finally got someone
to answer the door. Turned out the AUF had moved, but the woman at the
door, S, is super interested! We'll be seeing her later this week!
MIRACLE!!! Even if you're going through hard times, have hope in good
things to come!
Cheers!

The Zone Leaders get loads of American soda from Theford air base - haha!

Our beloved Zone Leader, Elder Yost, passed away this transfer (he's going home!).  He's a great missionary and I learned a lot from him.

We were one the train when we used the restroom and found this gem on the toilet seat!

On the bus passing through Cromer, which is right next to the sea.  So cool!
