They sung Happy Birthday to me at Zone Conference and gave me a huge candy bar!
Hello!
I've said this a few times before, but it really is amazing how the time is flying by. I'm already almost done with my second transfer, and I've been out for almost 3 months now.
This has been another good week, with some of the highlights being miraculously setting a baptismal date with our new investigator,Zone Conference, and finally having a lesson with our investigator K.
Yesterday, we had a lesson with a new investigator, D, from Latvia, and it went very well. We met him on the street after our Zone Leader told us to go have a miracle while we were going back to get one of our badges we'd forgotten at the flat. At first, D didn't really seem like he wanted to talk to us, but we were really persistent and eventually got his number. He didn't respond to any calls or texts for around a week, so we thought he wasn't interested, but then just the other day, HE called US. He said he wanted to come to Church, but we found out his work schedule conflicted with Church, so we set an appointment for Sunday evening. In that lesson, we taught him The Restoration and committed him to baptism! It was really amazing to see someone so prepared accept the gospel.
This was my first Zone Conference on my mission, and I thought it was great. It was fun to meet up with some of the other missionaries from my group in the MTC, and the activities between the trainings were a lot of fun as well. I was hoping to get a picture with the Mission President since the picture from my camera didn't turn out so well when I first arrived here, but everything got very busy after Zone Conference ended, so I couldn't get one.
Finally, we at long last had a lesson with K. This was actually the first time we'd taught her in the whole transfer. She's working two different jobs right now, and they're making her work pretty much all day long every day. We'd gone to her home and started talking to her husband, a recent convert named M, and we thought we'd just be teaching him for the evening. Then his daughter came down, and a few minutes later K came down. We had a great lesson with them and helped resolve some of their concerns. The next day, she went to the London temple and had a great experience there, and she had a great time at Church the day after that. It's amazing to see how the gospel has already blessed her and her family.
Hope you all had a great week as well! Sorry that I couldn't write more! Love you all and hope to hear from you soon!

Funnies of the Week:
While Elder Evans and I were jogging one morning, we ran past a car that looked exactly like Herby, a small, white VW bug with the number 53 on it.
I have a family picture on the back of my planner, and people will see it and think that Nick's older than me and that Courtney's the youngest of us three.
Below are awesome recipes for Key Lime pie and Waffle Berry Pudding from a family we visit
