Week 88: Ipswich Zone

March 7, 2016

This has been a tough week! We're slowly but surely building up our
teaching pool, but we haven't found very many solid, committed
investigators. Despite the fact that many people say no, I'm grateful
for the opportunity I have to invite others to come unto Christ. I'm
grateful for the peace and help the Spirit brings when we go forward
in the Lord's service. I love testifying of the truthfulness of the
gospel because of how much it strengthens my own testimony and because
of how strongly I can feel the Spirit when I do. I know that I am
exactly where my Heavenly Father wants me, and I hope to be able to
accomplish all that He has sent me forth to do.

We had a pretty awesome Gospel Principles lesson on Sunday. What was
awesome about it, you ask? We taught it. :) I love serving with Elder
Jackson - he is such an amazing missionary!

One of my favorite experiences from this week was when we went to a
member's home for dinner on Thursday. We shared a message about
families, and we started off by watching a video about eternal
families. As the song "Families Can Be Together Forever" started
playing, one of their little boys recognized it, smiled, and started
singing along. It was such a precious moment to see that this little
boy knew he could be with his family forever.

Thanks for reading! Hope everybody has an amazing week!

Funnies of the Week:

Our mission has a standard of doing 4 role-plays, called "Gaps",
throughout each day, and sometimes it's hard to remember to do them.
To help our district to improve in doing our Gaps, we made a
competition out of it - the companionship they teaches the lowest
number of Gaps in a week has to buy the rest of the district cookies.
We've only lost once in the past 3 weeks :)

"E"ngland "L"ondon "M"ission - ELM!

C got baptized - Yeah!!!!!

We went finding on Saturday and walked 17 miles (28 km)!!!
