We had lots of
miracles happen this week! We got a call from the one
of the zone leaders on Tuesday asking if we wanted to go finding with
him and an assistant to the president, so we said yes! We only had an
hour, but we have some great gospel conversations during that time! It
also really helped me build my confidence in finding, so I'm so
grateful that they thought of calling us that morning!
Our next two miracles happened on Saturday. First off, we were walking
towards an investigator family we've had a hard time contacting these
past few weeks, and while we were talking with people by the way, we
ended up stopping a young couple from Utah who were members! They'd
just moved in and were wondering where the Church was, so we were able
to give them the address and our phone number if they needed any help.
Heavenly Father's timing is so amazing!!! Our next miracle happened
when we arrived at the investigator family's home. We've tried
contacting them a few times before, but they finally answered the door
this time! We caught them right when the mother and father were both
at home, which was perfect! We had a great lesson with them, and we
arranged to meet with them more regularly. Miracle!
Our final miracle happened on Sunday. It was a special Sunday - there
was the usual 3-hour block of Church meetings in the morning, but
there was also a "YSA Super Sunday" in the afternoon for all the YSA
in the stake! We'd planned for 4 people total to come to all the
meetings that day, and even though some of them never showed up, our
investigators that did brought friends, so we ended up having 5 people
at Church! They loved it so much that they took pictures with everyone
after it was over! MIRACLE!!!
Sometimes being a missionary is hard, and a lot of times I feel like
I'm not good enough to do the things I've been called to do, but I can
see Heavenly Father's hand in my life, giving me encouragement and
comfort and strength when I need it. I know He loves us and is always
there for us.
Thank you everyone for your love and your prayers, I can feel them!
Hope everybody has a great, awesome, wonderful week!

Funnies of the Week
My companion just saw that our exchange with the zone leaders is
tomorrow. "Well, I think I know which day we'll go tracting, Elder."
