Week 31: Let it Snow!

It snowed this week!!! I didn't get any pictures because my camera batteries died, but some of the other elders in the district did, so I'll see if I can send some of their pictures. I'm also trying to figure out how I can send my pictures - the computer weirded out on me this week, so not only will I not be able to send all of last week's pictures, but I won't be able to send any of this week's pictures either. :P I'll send them next week!...I hope.

It snowed this week! We don't usually get snow here in London, but we got a whole bunch! It didn't stick to the ground, which was good and bad - good because that meant transport was still going, but bad because we wanted to see more of the snow.

We had some great experiences this week with talking with everyone! I have such a strong testimony that this is a true principle! We have met SOOO many prepared people that it's crazy! It makes me realize that when I don't open my mouth and share the gospel, I'm letting these prepared people down. It feels so amazing to know that you're doing what Heavenly Father wants you to do when you share the gospel with these people!

We had a miracle this week with one of our former investigators, L. She just sent us a text a few weeks ago and told us that she didn't want to see us anymore, and she asked that we not contact her. Just yesterday, we saw her sitting at the bus stop, so we sat and talked with her for a bit. She was friendly, but avoided getting into too much of a conversation. A few hours later when we were on the Tube, we saw her sitting on the train we were about to take, so we got on and sat next to her. We were able to talk to her about her concerns and were able to resolve them. She told us she'd come to Church this week! MIRACLE!!!

Thanks for all your letters and emails! It's so much fun to hear from all of you! Love you all so much!

Funnies of the Week:

A lot of religious people say "God bless you" around here as a way of saying "goodbye". After having a good conversation with someone, I told her "God bless you" to say goodbye. She thought I'd said, "Love you" and responded, "love you too!" Awkward moments as a missionary.
