This week, I had my first baptism! It was a really last-minute baptism since we thought the investigator, J, had dropped his baptismal date, but we got it all figured out! J's been meeting with the missionaries since early this year, and the Assistants and the Zone leaders decided to give us some advice of how we could help J decide to follow through on his baptismal date. We followed the advice and just like that, J decided to be baptized. MIRACLE! There was also a baptism for the Sisters in our ward the day after, so we had an amazing weekend!
Even though we had a baptism, I was still a little stressed out on Sunday. When we were at Church though, I could feel more peaceful and calm about everything. Coming to Church may seem like it's too small a thing to make a difference, but it truly does.
Our recent convert, E, has been doing really well. He just passed the sacrament for the first time on Sunday, and he did great! We're really excited for him to begin going to the temple!
Thanks for reading again this week! Hope to hear from you soon!
