This has been another great week here in London North! We had interviews this week with President Jordan, and Sister Jordan made us some of her famous Ghiradeli (if that's how it's spelled) brownies, so that was awesome! It really does help to have that one-on-one time with the mission president so that you can know what to work and improve on.
This week has been a rollercoaster week with one of our investigators. Something we did offended him earlier this week, so we fasted and prayed to know what to do to fix the situation. We ended up calling him and simply apologized on the phone and asked if there was a time we could meet him to tell him that we were sorry. He miraculously forgave us, and we've been able to teach him a bit more this week. He actually ran into one of his old friends who owns this massive, posh restaurant, and they've invited us over for dinner! Better yet, it sounds like they're interested in hearing more about the gospel! MIRACLE!
Recently, we've been learning a lot from our mission leaders about exact obedience, so my companion and I have been working hard to resolve some of the things that we've been doing wrong. The big thing for me is getting to bed on time - I was really used to going to bed reeeeally late at University. I've been working hard on it though, and I've been able to get to bed on time for most of this last week! Sometimes we wonder why we have these rules, but I've seen blessings come as I've been more obedient to the mission rules.
Thanks for all your letters and emails! I'd love to hear from all of you!

Funnies of the Week:
I tried tofu for the first time this week! The recent convert who made it burst up laughing while we tried to cut some of it and put it on our plates - apparently we were cutting it really funny. Tofu looks a lot like bread dough.
One of our recent converts found out that my companion cooks Italian food, and he told us: "Since I joined, missionaries always asked me if I needed something, and I always said no. Now I can finally say yes!"
Our new investigator, J, was talking about Joseph Smith, but instead of saying "Joseph Smith", he kept accidentally saying "Joseph Stalin". He was pretty close.
We found a new investigator around the Visitor's Centre, and when we were closing our step-in with a prayer and asked her if there was anything we could pray for, she laughed and told us that we could pray for her ex-boyfriend to come back. So we did.
We were walking past this sign at night and then we noticed this: someone painted a man on the sign so it looks like a person carrying a surfboard!
We found this really cool sign as we were walking to our appointment. That little red thing on my shoulder is a poppy. Everyone is supposed to wear one to commemorate the Day of Armistice, the day the Great War ended (WW I). Look up the Tower of London to see the really cool thing they are doing there.
