This has been another great week here in London North!
My companion and I are getting along well, and I've been learning how to become more patient and understanding as I've worked with him.
The realization really hit me this week that I'm going to become a husband, father, student, and worker when I return from my mission, so I decided to make a more conscious effort on gaining Christ-like attributes.
We've managed to get back into contact with several of our investigators this week. One of those was a man named H, and our meeting with him went very well. He told us that he misses coming to Church and that whereas he didn't feel anything good about baptism before, he feels good about it now. He told us that he'd be interested in getting a quad, and he also told us that he'd come to Stake Conference this weekend. We couldn't find him this weekend, but we're hoping to pick back up with him again.
We also got back into contact with another promising investigator, C. We haven't been able to get in contact with him for a while, but after many persistent calls, we finally got him to pick up the phone. We're meeting with him today, and we're excited to see him!
We've recently had troubles contacting our investigator, N. We were right about to go work on a service project with him just over a week ago, and he didn't come that morning. We've been trying to call him for a while, but he either doesn't answer or someone else answers the phone and says that he's either sick or not there. Thankfully, by another miracle, the Sisters in our area bumped into him on the street and talked to him. He said that he loves the Church and the Book of Mormon, but his family really doesn't like him becoming so involved with it. He said he felt torn between his family and the Church, and he decided he wanted to keep his family happy, so he wants to stop meeting with us. We've been trying to get back into contact with him so we can talk to him about this dilemma he's having, but we've so far been unsuccessful in contacting him. We're hoping and praying that we'll meet with him again soon.
We were finding earlier this week when we ran into a man named V from Romania. He almost walked away since he couldn't speak much English, but then we told him that we were English teachers, and he lit right up. He excitedly took a few flyers for himself and his wife, and we got his contact information so we could arrange the classes with him. We've called his wife, M, since then, and even though she said she probably won't be able to make it, V will. We're really excited to begin working with them.
We had another miracle this week when we were going to visit a less-active member named K. We had just had a member-present lesson with Brother B, and he left for his bus to go home. We took the Tube to go to the less-active member's home, and just as we were getting off, Brother B called us and told us that he was coming with us. We weren't sure why he wanted to come, but we told him that that would be great. We thought for sure that the member's boyfriend would be home, but he left halfway through the lesson to go grocery shopping. The world wouldn't have blown up if Brother B wasn't there, but I was grateful that he followed the prompting to come teach with us so we could be exactly obedient to the mission rules. We had a great time meeting with K, and she told us as we met with her that she can feel the Spirit whenever we come to visit her. I love being a missionary!
Thanks everyone for your letters! Hope you're all doing well! Thanks for reading!

Funnies of the Week:
My companion introduced me to honeymilk, and I've pretty much had it on a daily basis since. You just get a mug, fill it almost full with milk, put it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, then stir in 1-3 teaspoons of honey. It's supposed to be good if you have a cold, but I just think it tastes good.
We were planning a lesson for our Ping Pong Night, and we decided to play a game and then teach a lesson from the game. We decided on a game called "Black Magic", but we realized we didn't really know how to play it, so he told me that "we'll practice 'Black Magic' tomorrow in Companion Study". And then he realized what he said, and we just looked at each other and laughed.
My companion was calling one of our Former Investigators to see if we could begin teaching them again, and suddenly we hear the mail slot, and he just dropped the phone and ran to the door while the phone was still ringing. We really do love mail.
This is the only picture I took this week -
Our Zone Leaders have a posh flat with a really nice view!
