Week 26: Merry Christmas!

December 29, 2014

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a fantastic, fun-filled week with their families! We had a great time here for Christmas - there was a fun Christmas Breakfast at the mission office that all the local missionaries went to, we went caroling on Christmas Eve, and a member family invited us over for dinner and skype! It was SOOOO nice to talk to my family!

This week, I just wanted to bear my testimony. I know that this Church is true. I know that President Monson is the prophet called by God to lead and direct the Church on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I know that Joseph Smith truly was called of God to restore His Church back on the earth. I know this because I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me through my thoughts and my feelings that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that anyone who asks God in the name of Christ with a sincere heart, real intent, and faith in Christ can receive an answer as well. I know that I would not be the person I am today if it were not for this Church, and I will always be grateful for my Heavenly Father for all the help and love He has given me.

Hope everyone has a great New Year! Love you all!

Funnies of the Week:

Missionaries in our mission get to watch approved movies on Christmas, and we thought the day after Christmas was also approved, so we were planning on watching movies all together on the day after Christmas. Then we found out too late that Christmas was the only day to watch movies, so none of the missionaries in our flat were able to watch Frozen, the movie they've been waiting all year to watch. They were super disappointed.
